The Chelsea Piers Connecticut Little Athletes Soccer Program introduces our youngest players to the fun and excitement of soccer. Utilizing appropriately-sized fields, our experienced instructors teach fundamentals of footwork, movement patterns and coordination. Coaches teach soccer through creative games and competitions that help instill a love of sports and movement in our youngest athletes.

Micro Soccer Tikes

Tee Ball

Children develop the basic baseball and softball skills of hitting, running, catching, fielding, and throwing, while also learning the fun of movement and sports.

Learn to Play Basketball

Young players are taught basic game rules and concepts, plus essential skills like dribbling, shooting and passing, while developing body control, coordination and motor skills.

Little Athletes Lacrosse

The Little Athletes Lacrosse program introduces our youngest players to the fun and excitement of lacrosse through creative games and competitions. Utilizing appropriately-sized equipment, our experienced instructors teach fundamental stick skills, movement patterns and coordination.

Hockey Tots

Designed to introduce young athletes to hockey through a fun and supportive environment. The primary focus is on hockey skating skills, but we start to implement pucks and other necessary hockey skills in our 50 minute Hockey Tots classes. No prior skating experience required.

Learn to Skate

Learn to Skate class introduces children ages 3 – 7 years to the basics of skating in a safe and fun environment. Designed for children with little or no prior skating experience, the foundation of skating is taught in order to build confidence and become comfortable on the ice.

Terrific Tots

Terrific Tots helps make the sport of tennis fun! The balls bounce lower, racquets are smaller and lighter, and the court dimensions are to scale for younger children.

Micro Sports

Introduces our youngest players to the fun and excitement of a variety of different sports including soccer, basketball, lacrosse and floor hockey. Utilizing appropriately-sized fields, athletes learn the fundamentals of each sport, movement patterns and coordination.

Little Athletes University

A unique 3-hour multi-sport program for budding sports stars. Athletes learn 2-3 different sports each day. Sports include gymnastics/movement, rock climbing, soccer, tee ball, lacrosse and more.
