Didn't we just go back to school after February break? Well it's time to start planning for April break. And if you aren't traveling, you definitely want to get some camps or activities on the calendar! A ton of our favorite children's programs are offering loads of fun while school is out, and we've compiled a list for you all! As "vacation" gets closer, don't forget to check the highlights section of our Instagram bio page for daily events & activities.
YMCA, Darien: April 15-18. Activities include swimming, crafts, outside play, gym, cooking, games and more. 9am–1pm (pre-school only) or 9am-4pm (preschool thru 5th grade). Extended care available: 8am-9am and/or 4pm-6pm. 1/2 day Members: $60, Non-Members: $70. Full day Members: $80, Non-Members: $90. Extended Care: $10 per hour.
Toddlertime, New Canaan: April 15-19. Join us for Nature in a Nutshell. We’ll explore all things spring including bugs, eggs, rainbows, dirt and flowers. Ages 2-7. 9am-12pm. TT Students: $55 (2's $60), Non-TT Students: $70. Register here.
Action Art School, Greenwich: April 15-19 (3 day minimum). Our Vacation Camp will give your kids the boost they need. Our camp offers your children a fun way to spend their free time, and it gives you that most precious commodity, free time for yourself! Ages 3.5-10. 10am-1:30pm. Extended care available: 9:30am drop off & 2pm pick up.
Darien Nature Center: April 15-18. Enjoy this early spring vacation program. Exploring the trails, pond, brook and identifying what happens in the spring months to the landscapes, the children will also be creating nature crafts and enjoying the menagerie of animals in our zoo room. *Membership is required for all vacation programs. Ages 2-6. 9:30am-11:30am (2's only) or 9:30am-1:30pm (3+). 2 days: $152+, 4 days: $304+.
YWCA Greenwich: April 15-18. This program offers kids a full day of interesting activities! Make new friends or cultivate different interests or skills. Ages 3-12. 9am-3:30pm. YWCA membership is required for camp programs.
New Canaan Nature Center: April 15-17. Come on down the hill and join other enthusiastic kids as our expert staff guide you on a variety of seasonal adventures throughout the 40-acres of forests, fields, and ponds at NCNC. Partake in nature games, crafts & activities! Ages 3-5. 9am-12pm. Optional Lunch Bunch from 12pm–1pm. Members: $180, Non-Members: $225.
Tumble Jungle: April 15-19. Activities include trampoline, zip line, bounce houses, games, recreational sports, crafts, & more. 9am-12pm. $45/day. Add on "Monkey Time" from 12pm-1pm for $15 (includes pizza)!
Pump It Up: April 15-19. Camp includes play time in our fun-filled arenas, activities, arts & crafts, lunch, festive snacks and more. 8:30am-12:30pm, 12:30pm-4:30pm, or 8:30am-4:30pm. $25/half day, $40/full day.
Chelsea Piers: April 15-19. Little Athletes Gymnastics Camp supports each child's natural love of movement and exploration. Ages 3-5. 8:45am-11:45am. Members: $63/day, Non-Members: $75/day.
My Gym: April 15 & 17. Three hours of My Gym fun for your littles! Ages 2+ (potty training not required). 1pm-4pm. Members: $40/session, Non-Members: $50/session.
Kids U: April 15-19. Kids U will lead exciting adventures as campers explore the world “Under the Sea”! Get your
children out of the house and into some fun! Structured play and learning-- activities include gymnastics, cooking, music, sports, arts, games, PlayQuad time, and more! Ages 3-9. 9:15am-12:15pm or 9:15am-2:15pm. $55/3 hours, $75/5 hours.
Earthplace: April 15-19. Enjoy a day off with fun & educational themed activities. Extended day options available! Ages 3+. 9am-1pm or 9am-3pm, Members: $63-$95, Non-Members $70-$105.
Splatterbox: April 15-19. Camp SplatterBox is so much fun! We will be creating amazing works of art, playing fun games, cooking up delicious snacks and treats, demonstrating super interesting science experiments and so much more. Ages 5-12 (ask about "almost 5s"). 10am-1pm or 1:30pm-4:30pm. $60/session.

Take a Hike Week, Stamford Museum & Nature Center: April 16-18. Join us for awesome themed days to increase your adventure and get some great time outside! Themed self-guided crafts each day! Pick up your 2019 passport to collect stamps and prizes!
- April 16: Forest Adventure Day – Join us for Scavenger Hunts, a guided hike on our Orange Adventure trail, a family Capture the Flag Adventure with special prizes, chances to make mud pies and more!
- April 17: RecycleMania Day – Visit the Rotten Log Hotel, build a Fairy House out of natural materials and more!
- April 18: WILD! Exploration Day – Perennial favorites such as our Vernal Pool and Stream hikes return along with live animal programs and more!
