Stroll Through a Festive Dazzling World of Lights! Featuring larger than life illuminated displays, a state of the art 30′ Christmas Tree, ‘Christmas Village’ featuring Santa & Mrs. Claus, Carolers, the Winter Beer Garden & vendors serving up delicious bites, hot cocoa & more! Tickets required.

Holiday Lights Spectacular, Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater, Bridgeport

A happy holiday experience for people of all ages-families, couples, friends, social-and work groups! Enjoy Holiday Lights Spectacular presented by Hartford HealthCare St. Vincent’s Medical Center from the comfort of your own car as you wind through the sparkling path that leads you right through the Amphitheater. At every turn, the magical route is overflowing with spectacular light displays that bring your favorite holiday themes and characters to life. Ticket required.

Winter Wonderland Walk, Beardsley Zoo, Bridgeport

Come enjoy the Zoo’s Winter Wonderland Walk! Stroll through our Winter Town and enjoy 10 festive vignettes, including Fairy House Lane, Poinsettia Pass, Snowman Way, Dreidel Drive, Gingerbread Boulevard, Kris Kringle Corner, Nutcracker Suite, Evergreen Lane and Gratitude Way. Included in the price of zoo admission, tickets required.

LUMAGICA, Harvest Moon, South Salem, NY

Enjoy a dazzling display of light sculptures in partnership with LUMAGICA, renowned for their world-class light installations featured throughout Europe. Guests will experience LUMAGICA as a walking tour through a magical forest full of marvelous animal structures and festive decorations, all brilliantly illuminated by over 500,000 LED lights. Holiday Lights, Bronx Zoo, Bronx, NY

Enjoy a global safari in lights featuring illuminated animals from all over the world. Their five lantern safaris, spread out throughout the park, each showcase a different wildlife region and will lead you on a fun, safe, and leisurely tour of the attractions. Ice-carving demonstrations, seasonal treats, costumed characters, wildlife theater, stilt walkers, holiday train, and more! Tickets required.

Grand Holiday Illumination, Untermyer Gardens Conservancy, Yonkers, NY

Inaugurated in 2015, the Untermyer Gardens Conservancy’s Grand Holiday Illumination has quickly become a Yonkers tradition, and thousands of visitors come to enjoy the spectacle. Come and see the Walled Garden lit with more than 100,000 lights and listen to holiday music from many traditions. This holiday treat is free thanks to their generous sponsors.

Westchester’s Winter Wonderland, Kensico Dam Plaza, Valhalla, NY

A 1.2 mile drive-thru experience filled with thousands of lights! Attractions include favorite elves Ned and Albert, glittering angels of peace and 50-foot dove, dancing trees, glowing snowballs, candy cane lane, a spectacular 100-foot light tunnel, and Westchester’s favorite 40-foot Christmas tree. Guests will be dazzled and delighted with new attractions including Elf Disco, a whimsical display of jubilant children from around the world, a breathtaking Peace on Earth LED display with animated trumpets and angels, and two new thirty-foot snowflakes to light up the largest holiday Christmas tree in Westchester! Magic of Lights, Pratt & Whitney Stadium, East Hartford

Magic of Lights is a dazzling, drive-through holiday lights experience featuring favorite holiday scenes and characters of the season using the latest LED technology and digital animations. Experience Magic of Lights from the comfort and safety of your own car as you wind through the sparkling path of East Hartford’s favorite holiday tradition. Tickets required.

GLOW, New York Botanical Garden, Bronx, NY

Discover the beauty of our landmark landscape and historic buildings after dark, breathtakingly illuminated with a newly expanded 1.5-mile colorful experience. These lively nights return for their second year at NYBG with more displays to wander through and explore. See NYBG’s iconic sights and buildings come to life as dramatic, glittering canvases with the Haupt Conservatory and Mertz Library Building as the centerpieces. Colorfully lit paths and trees, thousands of dazzling LEDs, illuminated plant stories, and whimsical, picture-perfect installations reflect the surrounding gardens and collections—creating a spectacle not to be missed! A Bug’s Night: Drive-Thru Adventure, Nassau County Museum of Art, Long Island, NY

You’re invited to NYC Winter Lantern Festival’s first visually immersive drive-thru experience! A Bug’s Night will dazzle your friends and family as you roll through acres of vivid lanterns and holiday lights! This luminescent experience will be an unforgettable display of festive holiday lights, and handmade lanterns in the shape of flowers, bugs, animals, and more! Tickets required.

Illuminate The Farm, Queens County Farm Museum, Queens, NY

Come join NYC Winter Lantern Festival as we night the light and transform Queens County Farm into an immersive and radiant oasis! Enter an unforgettable world of color with friends and family. This experience will be a dazzling display of festive holiday lights and handmade lanterns in the shape of flowers, tractors, your favorite farm animals, and many, many more. Tickets required.

Holiday Light Fantasia, Goodwin Park, Hartford

The 2-mile show transforms Goodwin Park into a drive-through wonderland of holiday spirit with a beautiful collection of over 1 million lights. Whimsical holiday scenes, familiar characters, and local tributes shine bright in larger-than-life lighted scenes and 200 individual displays. Lighted animations celebrate not only Christmas but Hanukkah, New Year, and Three Kings Day. Tickets required.

A Frosty Fest, Ulster Park, NY

It’s a bit of a drive from lower Fairfield County…but the creative team at Headless Horseman Hayrides & Haunted Houses presents a family fun holiday spectacular unlike anything you’ve seen before, so we had to share it! Visit with the holiday characters throughout (including a massive Christmas Bear named Bubbles), watch Frosty’s Animated Musical Light Show, stroll through Candy Cane Lane, drive through Frosty’s Enchanted Forest, take photos with Santa, and SO MUCH more! Fantasy of Lights, Lighthouse Point Park, New Haven

Fantasy of Lights, presented by Goodwill of Southern New England, has become a holiday tradition for thousands of families. Now in its twenty-seventh year, the dazzling nighttime event supports their mission: to enhance employment, educational, social, and recreational opportunities for people with disabilities and other challenges. The Sugar Bowl, 1033 Boston Post Rd., Darien, CT

Although this is not technically a light display, this downtown “diner” fills every inch of their small breakfast and lunch spot with Christmas decorations (ceiling included). It’s the perfect spot to bring antsy kids for a quick, inexpensive, & festive meal!
