Wild at Art Camp

Wild at Art Camp

Children entering PreK4 or K will go wild for art and nature at our newly updated camp! We’ll explore all of the best that SM&NC has to offer and get your campers unplugged and OUTSIDE hiking on trails, participating in outdoor art, visiting animal pastures, experiencing free play, rolling over logs, and more!  Give your kids the camp experience they crave and that is vital to their development! Find joy and explore curiosity this summer! Our Wild at Art camp is taught by our Preschool Teachers and experienced seasonal staff.

Earth Keepers

Earth Keepers

Engage your camper in the hands-on exploration of art and nature. In each session campers will discover the diverse resources of the SM&NC’s unique facility with visits to the Heckscher Farm, Museum galleries, or nature trails, guided by one of our experienced environmental educators. In addition, we’ll also explore a number of great, age-appropriate art experiences exploring different media. This year, all grades will be in one classroom allowing for more time for creation, exploration, and fun!  Limited to 12 campers for a great group experience. This camp is taught by a full-time Environmental Educator and experienced seasonal instructors.

Heckscher Farmers Camp

Heckscher Farmers Camp

Immerse your camper in the daily chores and activities of our Heckscher Farm in this interactive program. Campers will be responsible for helping with daily chores such as grooming, exercising, feeding, and cleaning farm animals, and will also help with weekly produce harvest and planting in our organic garden. Learn how to properly exercise and provide enrichment for animals, explore our hay lofts and barns, and hang out in the pastures! Kids will also participate in hands-on cooking and farm crafts.
