Easton Memorial Day Parade

1

Easton, CT

The route will be the same as in past years, following Center road to town hall. Once all participants have arrived at town hall there will be the traditional ceremony. The opening invocation will be given by Pastor Amanda Ostrove of Easton’s Congregational Church. The ceremony will include remarks from distinguished guests, a flag raising, and a rifle salute. The Closing benediction will be given by Father George Coca of Easton’s St. Dimitrie Orthodox Church.

After the ceremony, Post 160 members will be traveling to two cemeteries in Easton to perform short honor ceremonies. Members of the public are welcome to attend those ceremonies as well.

As always, the parade is being held in honor of those who have given their lives in America’s conflicts.
