Join us for a Fall Tour Day on Saturday, September 12 with a Notable Tree Tour at 10:30am and a Veggie Garden Tour at 1:30pm.
For our Notable Tree Tour, we will be exploring several Connecticut Champion trees and countless notable and specimen trees at the Arboretum. You will see some of the most beautiful and striking trees in all of Connecticut. Flat shoes are recommended.
For our Vegetable Garden Tour, we will show you the design and maintenance of the Bartlett’s Vegetable Garden and discuss Fall harvesting of late season vegetables. This tour is suitable for children and flat shoes are recommended.
Both tours will meet at the picnic tables next to the Silver Educational Center. All guests need to bring a mask and wear it when social distancing is not possible. All guests will need to sign a COVID liability release that will be available at the start of the program. We look forward to seeing you then!
