Our canoe paddles are a great way to spend an afternoon on the water with family or friends! Bring the whole family or come on your own and make some new friends. We will travel along the Saugatuck River in search of egrets, osprey, ducks, shorebirds and much more! Space is limited and advanced registration is strongly recommended.
Earthplace encourages people with special needs (who are able to follow directions and get in/out of a canoe independently) to participate in this event, and two spots (one canoe) are reserved for such individuals. Additionally, income-eligible Westport residents are able to participate at no cost thanks to a scholarship program.
Canoes will be shared in family groups. Masks are required when outside of canoes.
