Lachat Town Farm would like to celebrate the global diversity in our community through an International Festival and Market, which will take place on Saturday, October 23, from 12-5pm. This program will provide an opportunity for residents with ties around the globe to flaunt their cultural roots, showcasing approximately 20+ countries that make up our community.
The International Festival and Market will represent global cultures through many channels: food, music, dance, authentic goods to admire and/or purchase, art, games, traditional dress, demonstrations, and educational materials.
We will also have musicians and youth dance troupes representing many cultures performing on stage all throughout the day. Stay tuned for a line up of musical acts and dance performances. Come hungry as we’ll have food trucks in attendance serving a variety of ethnic cuisine. Check back often to this page for musician and food truck additions. Great event for all ages (families, couples, and singles).
