Mixed Media – Wood Sculpting and Painting Animals

Children will create wood sculptures and paintings using wood, paint, and other materials. They will develop a subject matter that will be used to re-create a theme for another work of art. Children will be exposed to works by well known artists and will be encouraged to participate in gentle critique discussions throughout. All materials will be supplied. Children should bring a hearty peanut-free snack.
