Downtown Rowayton
Our annual Santa Run has been renamed THE MIKE BARBIS SANTA TOY DRIVE to honor our late commissioner, Mike Barbis. Mike did so much for Rowayton, especially the youth of the town.
Santa will be making his annual visit to Rowayton aboard his big red fire engine sleigh on Sunday, December 5th. He will start at the Rowayton Train Station at 1:00pm, then make rounds through Rowayton, stopping at the corner of Crest and Ridgewood, The Rowayton Library, the Bell Island Gatehouse, South Beach, The Beach Association boat house and Brendan’s 101. Children can also visit him at the Rowayton Fire Station from 2:15pm-2:45pm.
Residents are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy or gift card to the Rowayton Fire Station that day from 1:00pm-3:00pm, as the Rowayton volunteer fire fighters will be collecting toys for the Carver Center’s holiday party.
