On February 1, drop in to the Library, sign up for your very first Greenwich Library card, and pick up a free copy of Dr. Seuss’s “Gerald McBoing Boing” in the Children’s Room! Courtesy of the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving. Take Your Child to the Library Day (TYCLD) is an international initiative that encourages families everywhere to take their children to their local library. Launched in 2011 in Connecticut by two public librarians, TYCLD raises community awareness about the importance of the library in the life of a child and promotes library services and programs for children and families. Join the celebration!
Join us in the Children’s Room for songs and stories during this monthly Saturday program for babies, toddlers and preschool children.
Visit our drop-in craft table and make a dragon clothespin puppet and paper lantern to celebrate the Lunar New Year!
