Turkey Walk & Trot with Joe Debone

Bundle up and bring a camera as we go in search of turkeys along the trails with our annual Turkey Walk and Trot. Local expert, Joe Debone, will present a brief history of turkeys prior to the walk – including discussion of their diet, life span, and characteristics. To further familiarize ourselves with this great animal, we will take a look at some turkey feathers, tails, feet, and a beak. We will also listen to a wild turkey call.
